Example

We are often interested in the TS_uNZ and S_vNZ levels at different depths. This program determines what those values are given the frequency of the acoustic unit, ambient temperature, and the TS value at 1 meter or the S_v value at 1 meter.

TS_uNZ and S_vNZ may be found as follows:

f = frequency (e.g. 120 Hz)

T = Temperature (Celsius)

Ψ = - 20.8 dB

τ = 0.0004 s

and Z is depth in meters.
